More About Me

Rachel is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) dedicated to providing comprehensive mental health care through both in-person and online counseling options. She’s currently welcoming new patients aged 13 and older. With extensive experience, Rachel specializes in supporting individuals through a wide range of challenges. Her expertise includes working with those navigating Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD (both inattentive and hyperactive presentations), Bipolar I and Bipolar II Disorders, Major Depressive Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Panic Disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and Postpartum Depression. She also offers specialized support for breastfeeding and medication management, and addresses various forms of disordered eating with weight management concerns, such as binge eating, ‘food noise,’ emotional eating, and yo-yo dieting, and LGBTQIA+.

Rachel is deeply committed to helping adults heal from the lasting effects of childhood dysfunction, including experiences with narcissistic or emotionally unavailable parents, neglect, and other adverse household environments. She also provides compassionate care for individuals dealing with narcissistic partners or recovering from past narcissistic relationships, addressing common symptoms like fatigue, insomnia, and irritability. Her practice extends to supporting those coping with trauma, life transitions (such as empty nesting, work stressors, relationship difficulties, and grief), and offers affirming care for the LGBTQIA+ community. Rachel has significant experience working with individuals who have experienced sexual abuse, physical trauma, domestic violence (DV), and emotional or mental abuse in relationships, family, or work environments. Rachel believes in a personalized and holistic approach. Her focus goes beyond simply alleviating symptoms; she strives to uncover and address the root causes of mental health concerns. Utilizing evidence-based methods, she works collaboratively with her clients to develop realistic, supportive, and highly tailored treatment plans that fit their unique needs and lifestyles. Rachel’s services include Individual Therapy, Medication Management, Mental Health Evaluations & Diagnostic Assessments, and comprehensive Intake Sessions & Labs. She also assists with essential documentation for FMLA and provides support for accommodations in work, school, or sports settings through telehealth mental health services. Her therapeutic approach integrates a variety of effective modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Strength-Based Therapy, as well as Talk Therapy and Non-Directive Counseling.

Rachel earned her Post-Master’s Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing (ARNP) and is dedicated to empowering and supporting you throughout your mental health journey.
