Kerrie Suits, PMHNP, a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner, is currently accepting new patients aged 13 and older. She specializes in treating Anxiety, ADHD, and Depression (including Mild, Moderate, and Major Depressive Disorder with common symptoms such as Fatigue, Insomnia, and Irritability), as well as Cyclothymic Disorder.
Kerrie takes a holistic and evidence-based approach to mental health care, focusing on addressing not just the symptoms but also the underlying causes of your concerns. She collaborates closely with her clients to create personalized treatment plans that align with their lifestyles. Kerrie is here to help you work through your challenges and can assist with Medication Management, Individual Counseling, Mental Health Evaluations, Diagnostic Assessments, Intake Sessions/Labs, FMLA, and Documentation as needed.
Through her online counseling and telehealth mental health services, Kerrie utilizes various therapeutic methods, including Motivational Interviewing, Strength-Based Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Talk Therapy, and Non-Directive Counseling. A graduate of the University of Walden, Kerrie brings diverse experience to her practice, including time as a flight nurse and as an RN in an inpatient psychiatric facility. She is dedicated to addressing your mental health needs.
Kerrie accepts several insurance plans, including Regence, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, HMA, First Choice, Aetna, UMP, Asuris, and more. Additionally, she welcomes HSA, cash payments, and can provide Superbills for patients with out-of-network insurance.
Outside of her practice, Kerrie loves staying active and spending time outdoors. Her favorite pastimes include kayaking, running, reading, and playing beach volleyball. She often brings her beloved pets along for the ride—a dog named Bear and a cat named Ginger—when she gets outside to listen to music and enjoy the sunshine.
